Due to the recent updates regarding Covid-19:

We are taking extra precautions to make sure The Place Stockholm is a safe space for you to work out. Therefore we have reduced the capacity of our Barre classes and we are constantly reviewing our schedule and have already made adjustments to keep the required social distance whilst traning. Our cleaning team will especially focus on cleaning and disinfecting the surfaces and equipment that are frequently touched and in use. We kindly ask you to wash your hands before and after class and clean your equipment with extra care. We have a requirement for everyone to use toesocks in all Megaformer and Barre classes and trainers for Trampoline classes. Please do not come to class if you are feeling unwell of if you are showing any symptoms of a cold, fever, cough or difficulty breathing. Please refrain from using locker rooms and showers if you can. Take care of yourselves.

The Megaformer is a specialized piece of training equipment, based upon the classis Pilates reformer, that allows you to gain true core strength, toning, and cardio fitness - safely and efficiently.  Our aim is too provide the same benefits as traditional pilates in a small, friendly setting, while adding a challenging cardio element. We like to end our classes sweaty and smiley! All our teachers are officially certified in the Lagree Fitness training method (upon which the workout is based) and the Megaformer workout is suitable and safe for all ages and conditions.

Why it works...

50 minutes of high-intensity, low-impact, slow & controlled resistance based movements. Classes are intense, deliberately  designed to work your muscles to the max. Whilst it may resemble other Pilates classes,  we assure you it's unlike any workout you’ve ever experienced. Each movement is built upon a plank, squat, or lunge, with a array of variations designed to help strengthen your entire body. With deliberately small class sizes,  each client can receive personalized attention and support from their coach throughout the class.

How quickly will I see results?

Everybody and every body is different. On average, if you begin attending class 2-3 days a week, you will start to see and feel changes by the end of week two and you will notice a big difference in your overall strength after 30 days.
